Meet the Authors

Charles W. Buffington, Jr.

A good friend of mine told me that our ministry and mission comes out of our burden and struggles. How true! I have a burden for the financially challenged. All of my life my family worked and struggled to make ends meet. My mother was a domestic worker and my father was a day laborer when he worked. He was unemployed more than he was employed. My mother struggled to provide the bare essentials—food, shelter and clothing. Looking back, I now understand why we struggled as a family with one child while other families with fewer resources and more responsibilities lived better. They operated with an understanding of basic financial and life principles. They knew how to separate needs from wants, honor God with first fruits and save, consistently and systematically. After seeing the difference these basic principles could make, my life goal was to be financially free and independent.

When I found the Christian faith and God led me to study His Word, I discovered that all I needed to understand and apply in order to live an abundant life was clear and very explicit in God's Word. I also discovered that all of my education and work experience led down this path, the path to true freedom and abundance. My goal now, with the help of God, is to show as many as will listen and obey how to find the pathway to financial freedom and abundance.

I wish you well on your journey and I celebrate the prosperity that will come with your obedience and commitment to God's Word in your life. I pray that this faith-driven obedience overflows into every aspect of your life. May God richly bless you to help others!
